Your Go To Attitude

Hello beautiful souls,

Once I figured this out things started to change.; I mean my attitude towards the issues in my life. I’ll make this short and sweet.

Have you ever thought about your go to attitude when you come face to face with an issue in your life? And there is a reason I’m not calling it a problem, so let’s make a pit stop right here. Thinking we have a problem makes us feel helpless, like we need help, like it’s outside of our control. Although these thoughts may not seem like a big deal, they are, they will stop you in your tracks and create unease and frustration and lord knows what else is within you.

Instead an issue feels like there are solutions out there and all you need to do is to find them. Energetically it has an ease to its name, it feels like you can flow through it, instead of having to stop at the intersection and wait for the light when you call it a problem.

So, let’s talk about the attitude towards an issue you are having, is it sadness, hopelessness, giving up, throwing in the white towel, feeling overwhelmed, feeling like a victim?

What was yours, and what is it now?

Or, what is yours and what would you like it to be?

Mine was, throwing in the towel, I’m done, the world is ending. I’m helpless and hopeless, nothing goes my way, it’s going to be a terrible day, I might as well stay home and watch TV so I can stop thinking about this huge problem of mine.

We are still here, we have survived through all the problems, and issues we have had, the only difference is our attitude made it way more difficult for us.

Here is an example: the other day, I got a call from the company I had interviewed three times for a job I really wanted, and they said they decided to go with someone else. About 10 minutes later, I got an email from my accountant wanting some information from me which I didn’t know how to get.

So, what did I do?

Good question.

I thought to myself OMG, it’s going to be a horrible day and nothing is going to go my way, doom and gloom are here to stay. Then I remembered my forsaken attitude and decided to change it. I gave myself 5 minutes to cry about the job I really wanted that passed me by then and I was done with that. I have a backup job that had offered me a position so I accepted it. Then I thought about my accountant and figured out my tax person will have the answer and he did, and the issue was resolved with no drama; the rest of the day was wonderful.

This has totally been a game changer for me, remembering to stop myself and think about what I am faced with as an issue rather than a problem and that I can figure out the solution, has made me feel more confident with myself.

Don’t forget you can book a 20 minutes appointment with me.
